Operations and strategy professional with an engineering foundation. Passionate about AI, digital transformation, and building things that matter.
I'm Carlos, an industrial engineer from Madrid who found his sweet spot where operations, strategy, and technology meet. I love taking complex problems, structuring them, and turning them into real solutions.
Over the past 2+ years I have been working in large-scale digital transformation programmes in financial services, coordinating cross-functional teams across multiple European markets. My day-to-day involves designing governance frameworks, automating executive reporting, and keeping complex projects on track.
I also lead the AI adoption initiative for my department, identifying high-value use cases and building a culture of continuous learning around technology and artificial intelligence.
Now I'm looking for my next chapter: moving to the Netherlands to join a tech-driven company where I can keep building at the intersection of operations, strategy, and AI.
Outside of work, you'll find me exploring new countries, playing chess, or experimenting with the latest AI tools. I also spent 7 years as a federated basketball referee, which taught me everything about decision-making under pressure.
From digital transformation to AI adoption, building the bridge between business and technology.

The things that shape how I think, lead, and approach life.
7+ seasons as a federated basketball referee with the Madrid Basketball Federation. Officiated over 1,000 games across multiple competitive levels, including selection for the Women's 1st Autonomic Final (2022-2023) and the Men's 1st Autonomic 3rd/4th place match (2023-2024), some of the highest-profile games in regional basketball, with packed stands and intense pressure.
This experience taught me more about decision-making under pressure, conflict resolution, and leadership than any textbook ever could.
